IT Demand & Portfolio Management Analyst - Hybrid Schedule with Work being completed in Maplewood, MN

As IT Demand & Portfolio Management Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading the demand qualification and portfolio management processes for IT work from across 3M. Additional responsibilities include:

●            Design and implement an enterprise demand qualification process for IT projects

●            Orchestrate annual IT project planning, Quarterly Reforecast, and emergent demand processes with IT and business/function stakeholders to maximize outcomes for 3M

●            Facilitate prioritization of new demand, including defining and maintaining prioritization criteria

●            Review and edit IT Business Cases for Governance

●            Provide support to our stakeholders providing timely answers to questions related to Demand and Portfolio Management

●            Structure and maintain portfolio view, offering insights and recommendations to leadership

●            Develop and maintain tools needed for effective demand qualification

●            Engage with key business, functional and IT stakeholders to make improvements to demand qualification and portfolio management processes

●            Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables

 
Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

●            Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution

●            Five (5) years of project management, Portfolio Management, business relationship management or related role in a private, public or military environment

●            Strong Excel and Powerpoint Skills



Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

●            Self-starter / self-directed leader with passion for process improvements and a proven track record of achieving results

●            Proven Microsoft Office skills and ability to prepare presentations for leadership

●            Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and drive decisions

●            Excellent presentation and communication skills

●            Experience working with global teams

 
Work location:

●            Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to current headquarter location)

Rate Range: $75-$80/HR
