Summary:

The Sr. Controls / Automation Technician is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of control systems for a variety of industrial applications. This includes the use of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and other related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as experience with PLC programming and HMI development.

Responsibilities:

Assist with design, development, and troubleshooting control systems for a variety of industrial applications
Assist with selection o hardware and software for control systems
Program updates and modifications of PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley PLC and Automation Direct C-More HMI experience is preferred)
Perform testing and debugging of control systems
Document control systems
Work with other engineers and technicians to implement control systems
Provide technical support to customers

Qualifications:

5+ years of technician experience in controls / automation
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
Experience with PLC programming and HMI
Experience with a variety of industrial control systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
