A project to update the information in it's IT asset management database to support various Cyber Defense initiatives. This project management position will work with Cyber Defense, IT personnel, and another contract worker to:
Define project scope and identify key stakeholders.
Develop a comprehensive project plan, including deliverables, timelines, and management reporting.
Establish office hours and create training resources to support asset owners.
Develop and execute a communications plan to ensure project success.
Define key identifiers and core data elements for asset management.
Identify and develop asset inventory maintenance processes, including data entry, quality review, and remediation.
Co-develop roles and responsibilities (RACI) for asset inventory maintenance.
Conduct initial interviews and data cleanup activities.
Maintain regular interaction with PM/ISRC/Infrastructure teams.
Verify data integrity and ensure accuracy.
Obtain stakeholder feedback and evaluate project outcomes.
Assess for gaps in approach, timelines, or insufficient details and make recommendations for improvement.
Skills
We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable IT project manager who can get up to speed quickly, creates working relationships easily, and can provide leadership to all IT related aspects of the project. Specifically:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Understanding of IT asset management is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with time management, resource planning, and communications management
Education
PMP Certification.
College degree preferred, but not required in lieu of applicable work experience.
